Does it cost to advertise/ apply for jobs through JobOasis?
- JobOasis is completely free for both the Job Advertiser and the Job Hunter
How to Advertise a Job
- Only one applicant can be accepted per advert. Please post the appropriate ratio of adverts to positions available.
- Once the job advert has been launched you will be able to see current applicants at the bottom of the advert page. This can be accessed in the Current Jobs section at the bottom of the My Profile page.
- Select the person who you feel has the best balance between feedback and price by pressing on Accept.
- An email will be sent to the selected Job Hunter with your email address; they will then contact you.
- If you do not receive and email from the Job Hunter within a few days select another person from the list of Job Hunters.

How to apply for a job
- Use the Search Page to find a job that appeals to you and click apply.
- To see what the Job Advertiser is like to work for click on the advertiser's username within the advert to see their profile which contains their feedback rating.
- Enter an offer of how much you are willing accept for the job in question. Remember to take note of what the job advertiser is offering to pay.
- If you have been selected for the job you will receive an email; through which you can correspond with the Job Advertiser over the final details of the job.
- This should be done within 48 hours otherwise the Job Advertiser may select another candidate.
Is the quality of work guaranteed?
- No unfortunately JobOasis is a community built on trust and feedback therefore we cannot guarantee the quality of work of provided by a job hunter.
- This also applies to what is written on the Job Hunters profile we again have no way of controlling this; we do however remove people from the community if they are reported to have mislead members as a through their profile.
How does the Feedback System Work?
- To enable users to get a better understanding who they are employing, JobOasis uses a feedback system. A users feedback is displayed at the top right of their profile page.
- A Job Hunter is eligible to receive feedback as soon as they are accepted for a job.
- After the Job Advertiser has decided that the job is complete the Job Hunter can leave feedback on what the Job Advertiser was like to work for;
To do this click on the corresponding job in the Awaiting Feedback section found at the bottom of the My Profile page.
Is my information safe?
- Everything within your profile apart from your email address is available to everyone. Please take this into account when uploading CVs. We do not recommend that you give specific details of where you live or a jobs location within a job advert or your profile. These details can be exchanged if necessary via email once you have been selected or have selected some one for a job.
How do I report a member?
What kind of work can I post on JobOasis.co.uk?
- We do not accept permanent job positions or salaried jobs.
- We do not accept postings from recruitment agencies or companies, we only except Jobs postings from individuals.
- We do not accept postings that advertise any sort of pyramid scheme
- We do not accept postings that contain links to other websites that offer the user job posting facilities.
- We do not accept adverts for escort work.
How do I change my account details?
- Once signed into JobOasis click here
- Once in the forum click the Profile tab found on the navigation bar to the top left of the page.
- Within the Profile tab click Account related settings found on the left hand bar under Modify Profile
- Within this section you can change:
- Name
- Email Address
- Password
